Presentation Description: This webinar will discuss how the billion dollar influencer marketing industry has grown so rapidly over the years and the lack of laws to keep up with it. As a lawyer and influencer herself, Kameron, will share 

(1) Both points of view on why lawyers are needed in the influencer marketing industry: (a) discussion on why lawyers are needed at the beginning and middle of the influencer marketing process such as contract drafting, email communications, breaking down the FTC guidelines and (b) discussion on why lawyers are needed at the end of the influencer marketing process such as enforcing contractual obligations, lawsuits, and analyzing case studies

(2) The various areas of laws that overlap within this industry: (a) discussion on the relevance of business law, contract law, intellectual property, entertainment law, and employment law in the influencer marketing industry

(3) How lawyers can ethically and successfully navigate this new digital space: (a) discussion on disclaimers and disclosures lawyers need while navigating this digital space and (b) various ways to use our law degree and law license in the influencer marketing industry whether you want to practice or not
